The power of Gratitude.

Someone told me a fact, which says -
Our brains are designed to mourn over losses more than they celebrate over victory. That is why losses affect us more, make us feel more belittled than successes and good events make us feel uplifted.
And so we usually think how everything bad has happened. But, the truth is life has been fair!

Be grateful for amazing things you are surrounded with.
Be grateful, how good events just happened to you. C'mon you have many of them.

I can quote Balaji Vishwanathan here,
"
We are here as a life form through an amazing stroke of luck. And we became humans by an even bigger source of luck. And our ancestors survived ice age and near extinction with luck. We perfected agriculture on the back of a lucky break in global climate. And we were lucky to born into privilege allowing us to read this post without worrying about bombing above or landmines below.
As Newton put it, everything we see is by standing on the shoulder of giants - who built the language, logic, writing systems, laws and structures needed for us to learn in the way we do now.
Rather than being arrogant of what we accomplished, we should surrender ourselves to the sheer wonder of the Universe. Rather than being closed to new ideas, we should gawk at the sheer wonder of the Universe and keep our eyes and ears open."

Once you know, you are the luckiest and most privileged in many ways, rather than being grateful if you feel devastated for that one thing which didn't go your way, you are doing something wrong.

I am grateful for everything in my life :)
I completely believe in the power of the Universe. If something didn't happen my way, it's okay! I'll wait as I know the Universe has best plans for me and my plan didn't impress the Universe much :P

Critics, This is for you.

I am someone who deliberately chooses to not say anything to the critics as criticism is not at all new to me. The best way to deal with criticism is to keep doing your work and let your work say everything!

But, again that takes time.
I was going through this answer of Balaji Vishwanathan on quora, where he has covered exact points that all the lovely critics need to know and understand!

I highly recommend this answer to everyone,
